Why should we support you in machine transport?

Depending on the industry, working machines are characterized by enormous weight. This makes transportation much more challenging for laypeople, which is why hiring a professional company is usually the right approach. Despite the high weight and often bulky design, the technology is extremely sensitive, making proper and safe transport preparation significantly more difficult. You are faced with the challenge of ensuring complete security of the cargo and ensuring the safe arrival of the machine.

In addition to the actual execution of the transport, the optimization of available resources also plays an important role. The purpose of the transport service is to minimize downtime and ensure integration into the new operating environment as quickly as possible. Especially with large cargoes, this is often difficult to achieve without assistance, as the composition and structure of the different components can be complex. The larger the machines to be transported, the more challenging the implementation of the required transport process and subsequent assembly becomes.

For this reason, we offer the creation of a cost plan and ensure a secure machine relocation in every phase. This allows you to benefit from a structured approach to safely and comfortably transport machines of all sizes to their destination and ensure integration into existing work processes without delays.

In the industrial sector, we place great importance on a comfortable implementation and provide suitable equipment for machine relocation and traditional transport in every phase.

What should you consider during machine transport?

To ensure a successful machine relocation, several steps and considerations need to be taken into account. With our checklist, you have the opportunity to refer to the correct sequence at any time and make the machine transport a successful process.

1) Ensure comprehensive planning

Planning is only successful when it summarizes all existing needs and enables holistic planning. This includes the location of the transport as well as the size and weight of the individual transport elements. The more information is discussed in advance, the easier it is to develop a well-thought-out plan.

The development of a concrete schedule is also part of the overall planning, taking into account the effort and structure of the assembly. Only when all components are discussed can a successful and well-planned transport be achieved.

2) Assess the need for transport insurance

The higher the value of the machine to be transported, the more important it becomes to take out additional transport insurance. This will protect you from the potential consequences of a faulty transport and compensate for the costs of repair and resulting loss of profit in case of damage.

3) Enable expert dismantling of the machines

To transport the machine safely, it must first be dismantled from the operational environment. In most cases, the machine cannot be transported as a whole, which is why individual machine parts should be labeled and securely stored.

4) Prepare for transport

It is important to pack and secure the individual components and parts of the machines and ensure their complete safety. By ensuring proper storage in advance, there will be minimal room for error during the subsequent transport.

5) Keep the effort of loading in mind

Depending on the size of the machine, additional considerations are crucial for loading. Particularly large machines, for example, require the availability of a crane or other supporting vehicle. On the other hand, other machines need to be disassembled for loading, so the necessary tools must always be available.

6) Create space for machine installation

Before the assembly can begin at the new location, it is necessary to assess its suitability. It should be possible to ensure complete assembly and restore the quality of the machine. Usually, competent support is required for this as well, so that the machine can be ready for use at the new location in the shortest possible time.
