This air-conditioned hall was dismantled, packaged, and delivered to Linz, Austria for temporary storage by our team in February 2018. In calendar weeks 33 and 34 of 2018, the hall was reassembled at Gaulhofer in Übelbach, Styria.

The hall was originally constructed as an air-conditioned indoor facility for printing machines. During the dismantling process, the wall panels, steel frame, electric roll-up door, electrical distribution board, electrical and air conditioning lines, air conditioning compressor, and piping had to be removed. The challenge lay in properly labeling and marking the countless components of the installation. Damaged parts also had to be ordered and replaced before the reassembly.

Our electricians handled the dismantling of the electrical distribution board and cable lines. The electrical connections for the air conditioning, lighting, and roll-up door were also carried out by our employees. Montron has been a licensed electrical company since 1994. The air conditioning unit located on the roof of the large external hall was dismantled and loaded using a crane.

Each of the many hundreds of individual parts had to be labeled, documented, and packaged. Care had to be taken during packaging and loading onto trucks to ensure the proper placement of each component. The goal was to avoid damage during transportation and ensure that the parts would be available in the correct order during the reassembly. Naturally, our customer wanted to make full use of the loading capacity of the provided freight trucks to save on transportation costs.

The transport to the storage area was carried out using three semi-trailers. Prior to the reconstruction, our project manager, Mr. Christian Eigner, visited the new assembly site and carefully planned and discussed the details with the new owner of the hall A forklift and two scissor lifts were required for the assembly.

Replacement parts for the used hall were ordered, including wall and ceiling panels that were damaged due to water exposure at the previous location. After a short but intensive preparation, the assembly was completed within 2 weeks by a team of 5 skilled fitters under the leadership of Christian Eigner and Günter Kiss. We are pleased to report that the estimated assembly hours were exceeded by 20 percent. A big thank you to our team for their excellent work.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Werner Lang for the contract.
